Ed Hamill Personal Biography

Ed Hamill has always dreamed of performing at airshows. At 16, Ed got his pilot’s license and has been
flying ever since. Ed spent ten years in the US Air Force, accumulating over 2,500 hours including F-16
instructor pilot and combat time.

DOB: March 22, 1967
Places I’ve lived: Orange County, CA (Tustin, Newport, Mission Viejo), San Diego, CA, Northbrook, IL, Dunwoody, GA
Married to: Jodi Hamill of Duluth, MN
Kids: Two kids, David and Angelina
Where I met my wife: while remote to Kunsan Air Base, Korea, wife, Jodi, was a Captain in the USAF, Civil Engineer
Wedding: we followed each other to Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, where we got married.
Currently: we both transferred to Luke AFB, AZ
Sports played while growing up: soccer, tennis, golf and weightlifting. Went to 1983 Junior Olympics in Olympic lifting, place second in 16 year old, 132 pound weight class.
Current hobbies: music – drums, weightlifting and golf, lots of golf.
Favorite pastime: spending time with my family, swimming with David and Angelina, and playing golf and tennis
